The High Impact Project Cost Management course is a combination of classroom teaching and interactive workshop style, incorporate with simulation as learning tool, to introduce the concept, processes, and application of these practices to the participants. It is aligned to the PMBOK®Guide and provides realistic scenarios in real-­‐life project context for the participants to deal with.

Earned Value Management–Earned Value Project Simulation Exercise

In this exercise, participants go through the following learning points:

  • Explain how a network diagram’s information can convert into a planned value line chart
  • Chart the earned value (EV) and actual cost (AC) against a project’s planned value (PV)
  • Describe a project’s status based on charted variances
